A near-record group of runners and walkers competed in the 31st JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge.
Nearly 7,600 participants from 289 Central New York companies were at Onondaga Lake Parkway. C. Fred Joslyn from Fleet Feet Syracuse won the men's division with a time of 16:59 for the 5K race, with Andrew Foxenberg of US Materials Handling second at 17:03. Tops in the women's division was Maegan Krifchin of St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center, coming in at 19:29. Candace Werder of Elmcrest Children's Center finished second with 21:14.
The Syracuse Corporate Challenge is part of a 13-city, 7-nation, 5-continent series with over a quarter million people projected to participate this year.
