Syracuse Fashion Week Spring 2018 continues with the annual presentation of the Landmark Theatre Window Project. The Window Project intersects fashion & commerce; art & business; creativity & advertising. The project will bring people downtown and celebrate local businesses in a historic venue. Any and all businesses, designers and artists are welcome to participate.
There are 44 windows in the Landmark Theatre for sale, located on Clinton St and Jefferson St, in downtown Syracuse. Each participant will create a window concept, and then design, decorate and clothe a live model. You are free to create anything you want in your window to get your business noticed or your message communicated. The only limitation is your own imagination. The only stipulation is the window must have a live mannequin model in it. The models will be in the window for one hour – from 7:30pm-8:30pm.
Most of the windows are 36” wide x 36” deep by 80” high.
The cost to participate is $100.00 per window. Additionally, we suggest the models be paid – we suggest $50.00 per model. You are free to use any model you like. If you would like us to find a model for your window, simply ask! Please make checks payable to “Syracuse Fashion week.” We can also accept credit cards.
The Window Project is guaranteed to get a lot of media attention, as always. The Landmark Theatre windows will come alive! Join us and promote your business in this unique, creative event.
