Syracuse Ski Slopes Looking To Make Comeback With Coming Polar Vortex

The skiing conditions have been not too great this year! The mountains have been open of course, often times artificial snow is used, but the season so far has been less than optimal and usually only a few trails are opened during this weird weather. This years early snow seemed to be a good indicator of things to come, but that november snow was almost too early for skiing and didn't help the slopes enough to offset the milder weather we have seen more recently.

There is however a glimmer of hope- reports of a polar vortex pulling through the region later this month are lifting hope of a turn around! This years weather has been so weird. I can't believe the rain and wind we have gotten! Lets root for more snow so our beautiful skiing destinations can get back into their usual hustle!
