I live in a 100 year old home in Erieville. My favorite hobby is work on that old house and it keeps me busy. This year, I put on a new porch floor and fixed the siding outside and put in a new floor upstairs. It was too much for me to tackle, but usually I try and do my own work with some help from friends and family. I am a single Mom with three beautiful children. They are all country music fans. I have been in radio for many years and in fact, my mother was a radio personality. I guess that is where I get it from. I get a real kick out of doing charity work and attend many of the events here in CNY. I would have to say that the CMA win was the high point in my career. It just doesn't get any better than that and it is thanks to you who listen to us and support us each and every morning. It wouldn't have happened without you. In my mind, it was a win for Central New York. I love working with Tom Owens. We have quickly become best friends.

Think of your happy place. Chances are high that it's somewhere outdoors away from all things electronic, digital and plugged in. A new study confirms that being outdoors in nature makes people happier,
Researchers in the U.K., using a smartphone app of all things, checked in with 20,000 users twice daily, asking them to score their happiness based on their location on a 100 point mood scale. When in an outdoor setting, people consistently scored 3-6 points higher than those indoors.
The happiest places to be were the beach (especially among women), the woods and farms. But if you are city bound, don't fret. Urban parks flip the bliss switch until you can head out of the city for a weekend in the country. (YouBeauty)
So Chemo again tomorrow. I don't want to go, but I know it is the only way to the end of this. So I must go. I usually sleep through it. They give some kind of drug I think that makes me sleep. It is either that or the fact that I sleep all of the time!!! I am not kidding you...I easily sleep 12 to 14 hours a day. Isn't that crazy? I am lucky to be able to hold on to my job. They are so good to me at B104.7. They are letting me broadcast from my house, only the last few mornings we have been having some tech problems. We will get it figured out though. I shaved my head at the beginning of all this. I was told it was easier. Now I have these little stubbles that fall out all of the time. Believe me the shaving of the head did not make it easier. I think woman identify themselves partly by their hair. I know I spent many hours on mine. I would color it, frost it, cut it, curl it, straighten it....you know what I mean. Now most days I wear a warm cap my Mom made for me to wear at home. I do have a lovely wig from A&E and NYS Surgery, but I wear it only when I am going out. I am still on depression pills, and that makes my life bearable. I am blessed really, I have so many friends and family that step up and help me out. I am blessed, I should not be so depressed. I am trying. - Becky P.S. Have you had your mammogram yet?
