Scientists may have found a way to prevent hair from turning gray.  Experts at L'oreal have been developing a pill to do just that for more than a decade.  The company claims it will keep hair at its natural color forever.  The pill is said to be inexpensive and natural because it's made from fruit extract.  Users will need to start taking it ten years before their hair goes gray and it will have to be taken for life.

Please help the people in Binghamton who were flooded.  The children were rushed out of school to avoid the flooding so fast that they had to leave behind thier school supplies.  It is hard enough for families to pull together school supplies just once, yet having to do it all over again.  If you can help, drop school supplies off here at B104.7, 500 Plum Street in Syracuse during business hours.  They need it all, school paper, book bags, index cards...highlighters..etc.  Heavy type of work gloves made out of canvas or tightly woven cotten are also needed.  We are working with the Red Cross on this so please help out. - Becky

September 18th through the 24th is "Unmarried and Single Americans Week.  It is an acknowledgment that many unmarried Americans do not identify with the sord "single" because they are parents, have partners or are widowed.  I guess that makes sense.  99.6 million people in America 18 or older are unmarried.  This group comprsed 43.6% of all U.S. residents 18 and older.  I guess I am not alone. - Becky

Daniel Baldwin was our guest this morning. He is so good looking and personable too.  We just loved hanging out with him.  He is such a hard worker too.  He is making a new documentary movie and works really hard at raising money for the Carol M. Breast Cancer Foundation.  The more I get to know the Baldwin family the more respect I have gained about them.  Daniel hinted that he is pretty sure his brother Alec is going to be running for Mayor of NYC.  If Alec has the smarts that Daniel has, I am betting he would be a good thing for New York. -  Becky

Actor Daniel Baldwin will be our guest Thursday.  I am so impressed by the Baldwin family.  They are so charitable.  Carol Baldwin should be so proud of her children.  They are relentless in raising money for the Carol M. Baldwin breast cancer foundation.  They truly have made a difference in our community and they are very nice folks too.  You got to just love that. - Becky

We have had the opportunity to meet and hang out with Coach Marrone and his lovely wife Helen at concerts and now Helen is teaming up with Tom and I to work for the McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy site.  Over the course of get togethers, I have found her to be a woman of character who is actually fun to be around...very...very likeable.  She is funny too.  We have her on the air every Tuesday morning at 7:50  to talk about this organization that helps to save our abused children and also to talk about football.  She has some very interesting stories about the Coach...but she is so dedicated to fighting child abuse that you can feel her emotion really coming through.  Help her and the kids by donating here on our website.  - Becky

I saw "The Lion King" for the second time this past week-end.  This time I went with the family and that made it even more enjoyable.   I was sitting next to my Dad and to hear his ooohs and ahhhss...was just great.  It truly is an incredible production.  Worth every penny.  I was so entertained watching it.  What an imagination this person had to created the production.
